Description: The only eligible, living descendant of Jesus Christ, seventeen-year-old Joshua Black has inherited Heaven's throne and all of the burdens that come with it. After a violent encounter with his abusive father the night before, Joshua, whose family had been devastated by a tragic accident years earlier, wakes to find that God has undone the terrible event that ruined their lives. Joshua quickly learns that it wasn't an abstract God who rectified the situation, but that he, himself, is responsible for all of the changes happening around him. He also discovers that he has been burdened with an immense amount of power and responsibility. Several angels and divine beings take it upon themselves to mentor Joshua and show him the ropes, but their efforts are thwarted at every turn. An irresistible succubus has managed to get close to him by using her powers of seduction. Joshua's youth and inexperience leave him unsure whose motives are pure and who wants to use his powers for their own gain. While these two factions battle to gain the boy's trust, more sinister forces are at work.
