10/1/07 KIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can NOT believe how incredibly pissed off I am right now. This summer, there
have been FOUR Led Zeppelin musical tribute events (one every month!!!!) where I live, and I MISSED ALL OF THEM. The first
one, I didn't find out about until after it had been over for a few days. The second one was sold out. The third one I had
organized to go on a road trip with some friends to attend (the cover band was playing at a venue and hour away), but both
of the drivers cancelled at the last minute, so I had no way to get there. But it was okay, I let those go, just breathe,
it's not the end of the world, there'll be more Zeppelin tribute bands to see someday...
AND THEN TODAY I found a clipping of an ad for YET ANOTHER Led Zeppelin cover
band playing at a concert venue that's nearby and I had been to many times with Onee-chan... AND THE CONCERT WAS
TWO WEEKS AGO. Imoto-chan had found the ad quite awhile ago, clipped it out, and... hum...
FORGOT TO TELL ME ABOUT IT.
She. Will. DIE.
As if I needed more reasons to hate summer! Oh
man. I’m so glad it's coming to an end (finally!) … While summer does have a lot more opportunities for fun
and enjoyment (which, as you can see, 90% of the time I miss), I hate the heat. I hate showing up to work every flippin’
day drenched in sweat and three seconds from passing out from heat exhaustion. :P I sweat in an amount
greater than or equal to Jimmy Page. That man was a human waterfall. Put him onstage for five seconds, and the audience is
practically swimming in it.
